The headquarters of the Finnova Foundation in Brussels hosted the SETOFF project consortium, which is funded by the Erasmus + programme, on 22, 23 and 24 January.
The SETOFF project consortium took advantage of its meeting in Brussels to visit the EU Emergency Response Centre on Monday 23 January, a body of great importance to the SETOFF project and which has had a strong presence throughout the training offered by the project.
This centre coordinates the provision of assistance to countries affected by disasters, in the form of relief supplies, expertise, civil protection teams and specialised equipment.
They were able to enjoy a talk given by Monika Lazar, one of the policy officers of the EU Emergency Response Centre. During the visit, they had the opportunity to learn about the functioning of the centre, as well as exchanging points of view and opinions.
In addition to visiting the centre and other institutions, internal meetings were organised and networking sessions were held with the FIREPOCTEP project consortium, funded by the EU Interreg programme, with the aim of creating synergies and giving continuity to these projects.
